FIRST DAY!!

I LOVE IT HERE!!! its great!!

ok so i have to nickname my kids- so just pray for these names because the Lord knows!!

Ok so i got assigned 8 babies to have for an hour each. E-man, my first one, is 1 and a half, anmd he just smiles all the time. he is soo precious.

Then i got a girl named G baby, and she just tunred 2. She is a little sad, which it is the weirdest thing to see a sad baby. She is precious though and just wants to be held and cuddled. I took her on a walk outside the orphanage with other volunteers and their babies and she walked about 10 steps then made me carry her the rest of the way but i loved it. We walked to a random juice stand and got the babies juice, and some for ourselves and it was so good! Then we gave our left overs to kids who stand outside our orphanage. I love this girl, she already stole my heart.

I then had a girl names G. She is 3 and is very independent. I put her in a bubble bath the whole hour and she loved every minute of it. She is so sweet and mature.

I then had K-man. He also stole my heart. I just wanted to be loved on, and he would just lay his head on me, and when I would put him down he would scream, so we just chilled in the hammock the whole time.

I them had m-man,and then myrd. They are both boys under 2. They are so so cute. I love them all! I did not get to meet my last girl because she was sleeping all afternoon. But it was a great first day!

TOday they had a birthday party for all the kids birthdays in June. It was really cute! they all really loved the cake!

The food here is great. Tnoight for dinner wr are getting pizza cow zones, one of my favorite from t-bar-m :). The girls I work with are awesome and we have a great time. Tonigth we have bible study then will go back to the toddler hour (different then the orphanage) and just watch a movie and rest up for tomorrow.

I have never seen an orphanage before, but it is full of laughter and happiness. These kids lives are so different than our and they have nothing, but they smile and love everyone.

Please pray for my kids, some are sick but about half of mine have familes coming to adpot them within the year!!!

I love yall, and I will hopefully be able to post some pictures tonight or tomorrow.

Becca

I also got peed on and poop on my hand, but its still great!!

  4. Dear Becca: What a great day this had to be - I could feel your love and enthusiasm jumping off the monitor.
I loved the part about the kids not having anything but they love everyone and are happy and full of laughter. They are living the first and greatest commandment "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind" - Love never fails and loves makes you happy. When you have true love you don't need anything else. You will get more out of these little angels and they will be so enriched by the love you show them. We are so proud of you and love you very much, God speed, Pana
    Mark 9:26-37
Jesus took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms he said to them, whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me: and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.

Sweet dreams and have a wonderful second day!!!
