today was SUPER hot. but a great day. Jamie left today, which made me sad, but we got 2 new volunteers today. All my kids had a great day, and the Lord has been so faithful with answering prayers. I am feeling a little drained today, so please pray for strength and energy. There are hours where it is so frustrating. M-son did not like me today. We have to work on walking, and he has absolutley no interest. I put him in a walker and tried so hard to get him to walk and he threw a fit and I just had to sit there and watch him cry. He KNOWS how to do it he is just so stubborn. It breaks my heart becuase they only get one hour up there and I dont want to make him upset, but nothing else is working. It was frustrating, so please just pray for him, and for me and that our time is purposful. A lot of my kdis are sick, so please pray for their health.
Anyways this is a short one but I love yall and i am off to watch the sunset!!

Dear Becca: I am sure glad you never frustrated any of us when you were a baby.
ReplyDeleteI can say that with confidence. Becca you are showing more strength and energy than anyone else I know. We are praying for all of you. Continue praying for me so I might be fit to run with you when you return.
I love you and miss you, Pops
Hi Becca,
ReplyDeleteI am your cousin, Brittany Coe. Nana has been showing me all the pictures you have sent & I think it is cool. Love, Brittany
Becca,
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures of the babies. M-man looks like he gives Memaw Burke kisses!!! Ha!
When the adoptive parents get new pictures of their babies, they are going to see how happy & loved they are now.
When I told Brittany about what you & others were doing, she wanted me to show her your pictures. She thought it was a real "cool" thing you were doing for all the babies. She had alot of questions about why so many babies didn't have parents. I explained the best I could & told her that this is a problem all over the world.
We are so proud of you & prayers continue for these precious babies & all the people that are trying to make a difference in their lives. Love, Aunt Carolyn
oh how i love reading your updates. Sounds amazing to see and read about how each kid is doing...what they are battling and what they are overcoming. I can just picture it now how some of their bellies just rumble when they are laughing. The view looks amazing and the hikes look incredible. Praying for you...for theses kids, for the new volunteers, for your time with Kim, for God to begin to prepare your heart for leaving, and for Him to absolutely rock your world, good and hard, these next two weeks! Miss you and love you. So very proud of you. Love, Anna
