Today was probably the best Monday yet! It rained all day, and believe it or not, i was SO thankful. It cooled down like 20 degrees from the rain. It felt great. My kids were all great today. E-man is walking all around now. Its so crazy how fast he picked up on it. M-son had a GREAT day today. I did not make him work on walking, because of the rain (sorry excuse) so he ws extra happy. His laugh is the cutest ever. No one got pooped or thrown up on today, so it was definitely a success. :)
I can not even tell you how much I love tutu. Its just so crazy how i was actually upset when I got tutu switched from G-baby, but i love her sooo much. I look forward to our hour together all day. Its just such a change of pace because we actually communitcate with words, she LOVES to dance, she is potty trained, and we just connected so fast. I was hesitant to having a girl and not a baby on the balcony for so long with abunch of babies but it has been the greatest blessing. The Lord has used her in my life so much already. When I walk in the nursery she goes "Becca!!" I LOVE time with my babies and love them more than i thought possible but i feel like tutu is different if that makes sense. She has such a sense of humor and you have to hear her laugh to understand it. She is sooo funny. Please keep her in your prayers and that they can find a family soon for her who will take her!
Today, me kim and alecia went on a limb and on our walk we bought haitain energy drinks. It was soo funny and they were actually really good, and i am sure it was mental but we danced most of the afternoon dancing with our babies :) could not have been better.
There is a group here of about 7 for the week (a family group) and they are all really cool and its always good to get some change here.. I think we freaked them out a little bit telling them all about our "haitain sickness" stories.
Yesterday, a woman had a baby and brought her baby in 3 hours after she had him. He is a premie and weighs 2 pounds. I have NEVER seen a baby that small. We see some crazy stuff here but for some reason seeing this baby boy hit me the hardest. He is as small as my hand. PLEASE keep him in your prayers, he is being taken care of the best they can do here.
Sabrina (the baby with hydrocephalis) survied her surgery, praise the Lord. She is in the states now for good, but praise the Lord she survived.
It is crazy how God works here. I love yall and thank you again for the prayers!!

Dear Boo: So happy to hear you had a great day. I also did not get pooped or thrown up on today so I can also say I had a very good day to. Nothing better than starting Monday off great. We also had some rain today and when I got out around eleven this morning it was 79 degrees YEAH!!! Nearly 30 degrees cooler. The last nine days we have been in the triple digits. I think the highest was 103 it was like an oven. I heard on the news Florida was having very bad storms and I was wondering if you were getting any of the rain. You answered that question.
ReplyDeleteI have photos of E man and E Son next to my computer with the big smiles so happy to hear they are doing so well.
Boo, I love your excitment, your enthusiasm, and description how much you love Tutu. I totally understand where you are coming from. I will never forget how I worried before you were born wondering if I could love you as much as I loved Alex. You have to understand, Alex was our first grandchild and we all thought she was perfect in every way so needless to say you wondered "HOW???" but it was answered the instant I laid eyes on you and that sweet little dimple. It is amazing how much love we have and can give if you want too. It is more amazing when you give that love and recieve the love there is nothing like mutual love for each other. It sounds like Tutu has stolen your heart as you have hers. Throughout Scripture God says he has no favorites, for us humans we need to live like God and follow his examples. I will keep Tutu in my prayers and pray she gets a fun loving family to adopt her.
Does the Haitian energy drink have alcohol? I didn't quite understand and thought if it made you dance maybe it does have alcohol?? HOpefully you don't start dancing toward the potty. That will really put your guest in a tale spend = they probably will stay away from all beverages and food :)
Christi weighed about two lbs and just think that was 40+ years ago and just look how healthy Christi is now. When the nurse would feed Christi they would give her one teaspoon of formula and it would make her stomach swell. Amazing. How old was the mother of the child? I will keep him in my prayers.
Praise God, our prayers were answered concerning Sabrina. Does this mean she has an adopted family in the states? I sure hope so.
Tonight on the Ranger game they interviewed a woman that turned one hundred years old today. They asked her what was she going to do after the game. She said"I am going dancing with my grandson" LOL She was so cute.
Papa and I leave for Del Mar tomorrow. Yeah = all our friends have already arrived. My phone has been ringing off the wall. LOL
