i am officially exhausted. Today was a great friday, but i can definitely tell its the end of the week. We woke up this moring and ate breakfast and had prayer time, so we did not start with the kids till 930, so the day flew by! HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!! we get to have a party tomorrow, woop :) The older kids at the orphanage got to go see a ballet and they were soooo excited. it was awesome getting to see them do that. When i go get my kids to take them for one on one time, it is getting harder and harder to put them back. ha we have a great time and i love them so much. I tell my kids i love them all the time, and i dont really think they know what it means, but today i had m-man up and it was his time to go back down and he kinda started getting upset, and then he grabbed onto me and said 'Please, i love you!" ha i dont know if he knew what he was saying but i literally almost fell down the stairs! This kid is not even 2! It made my day.
I hope yall have a great fourth of july and I love you all!!!

Dear Boo: How sweet - you must have felt as though you hit the lottery when m-man said he loved you. I bet he did know what he was saying. The babies can feel your love and they will learn quickly to return that love to you. That is a great to begin the Fourth of July.
ReplyDeleteWe went to the firework show out at your Mom and Dad's hanger. Kim Lish and her brother came. Kim is so excited about coming to the orphanage. She looks great and as sweet as ever. Papa and I gave her a big bear hug to give to you.
Hope you get some rest tonight and have a great fourth. I will write more tomorrow.
We love you and we are so proud of you.
Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior, Love, Pana
hello
ReplyDeleteBecca, This is the third try to send my comments so here goes-(the hello, of course, was a test). Padna is a saint for seeing me through today in order to post. I have been keeping up with your blog and enjoy reading your comments. It shows how happy and thankful you are for what you are doing and I am sure God is happy and thankful for you too. I know everyone is proud of you, but I wanted to let you know how proud Dennis and I are of you too. You have become a wonderful Christian young woman and your sweet spirit shines through. It is apparent that you are really making a difference in these children's lives, the way they rely on you and never having experienced or even knowing what that meant before now. Hope you have a wonderful day. Be careful and stay well! I will write again soon unless the computer "dumb bug" hits me again. Much, much love, Dorothy
